While the Vicus itself does not make School Visits activities, a number of Vicus members are independently able to provide school visits, to form as part of the Primary School curriculum.

"The Lone Legionary" -Gaius Flavius Baca Leg IX Hispana
(Aimed at Key stage 2 although other offers are welcome i.e.. Museums, out of school clubs etc.)
Activities include:
- A fun day of activities including roman army drill with swords and shields.
- Fully armoured legionary explaining his equipment
- Fun to do paper activities and looking at real roman artifacts.
- Dressing a child in roman auxiliary armour.
- A fun quiz and Q &A session at the end of the day.
Legal Requirements: CRB checked with St. John Ambulance with full public liability insurance.
Price Guideline: 2008/9: £150.00 /day (although further distances may be more expensive to cover fuel costs)
Area Covered: Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and South Yorkshire areas (may consider slightly further)
